A Different Disaster

Insecurities never lead anyone in the right direction.  Strapped to fear we tend to stray from our dreams and true futures.  Before we realize what has happened we are not where we’d hoped to be in life.  Time ends up chasing us to the end, and by the time we are old enough it’s too late to change.

We see people, day by day, on tv, in the streets, being watched.  Living their lives so dramatically and without worry.  Wishing we were in their shoes so we too could be driven by a population we were never a part of.  Workers at their beck and call, when in reality they are thought too highly of.  We beg for the life of a character that never existed in the first place.  Hope for a day in the life of people with no conscious thought.

If these people actually walked this earth the world would be a completely different disaster.

Maybe it already is.
