Letters Never Sent

J: Come and find me.  I will be right where you walked away from us.  Waiting there, hoping you will turn around.  Destroying what future I had planned; sitting on this curb.  I will leave you a note with my whereabouts if i feel the need to leave for a while.  I might run out of water or food here, but I will always return.

I’m not certain how far you will walk before you turn around, if you ever decide to.  The fact that you even took that first step was surprising.  I waited my entire life to meet you.  I suppose I can wait some more for you to return.

C: Come and chase me.  I will walk until I can no longer stand in hopes that you will suddenly be right behind me.  Tossing my future in the air walking away from you; I have put the ball in your court.  I will walk slow so that you can catch up to me.

I’m not certain how long it will take before you catch up to me, if you decide to.  The fact that you just sat there and watched me was surprising.  I waited my entire life to meet you, I suppose I can walk until the night fades me away.

  1. It’s truly really sad, if someone lived her/his entire life like that, people should start living FOR themselves, instead of finding someone ELSE that can make her/his existence meaningful.
