Thief

You cut my finger
I watched it bleed
I can no longer hold life

You ripped out my eye
To get a better view
I’m left seeing one side

You filled one of my lungs
With the smoke from your fire
I’m breathless with every step

You shattered my knee
As you climbed higher
I am level with the pavement

You took bits and pieces
To complete yourself
I’m left crippled and abandoned

Forced to feed off the innocent
In search of the parts you stole
To put myself back together
